Mo Angels, the first membership based syndicated Angel Investment group in Mauritius launched in 2021  is looking for Part time intern (to be increased as needs grow) to support  with  its community management ,This position entails assisting with various tasks related to community recruitment, member follow-up, and assist with the smooth running of daily operations.

• Member Recruitment
  Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for attracting new members.
  Conduct outreach activities to potential members.
  Assist with organizing events (information sessions) to engage and attract potential members.
  Maintain accurate records of members, prospects and leads on our database.
  Getting acquainted with software currently used – SharePoint, Dealum, Mail Chimp.
  Organizing and processing mailings to appropriate parties.
  Preparing and updating member KPIs.
• Member Engagement and Follow-up 
  Coordinate member onboarding activities and ensure they have access to relevant resources and support.
  Interfacing with start-ups, investors and service providers.
  Assist on maintaining regular communication with members through various channels such as email, social media platforms and newsletters.
  Gather feedback from members and prospects and provide recommendations for improvement to enhance their experience within the community.
• Operations support 
  Provide general administrative support, such as data entry, documentation and scheduling meetings.
  Support the maintenance of Dealum, our deal flow management platform.
  Helping out on updating the web site and writing the monthly newsletter.
  The job requires some flexibility as certain events take place in late afternoon and evening. Person needs to be based in Mauritius. Work is mostly remote but there will be opportunities to also work in the premises of some of our local partners.
•    Reporting 
  The intern reports to  theOperations Manager or any other Co-founder as may from time to time be designated.
  Depending on subjects worked on, intern may work on a regular basis with any of the co-Founders of Mo Angels or any partner organization as may be designated by Mo Angels.
•  Qualifications 
  Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  Good written and verbal communication skills.
  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative.
  Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Remuneration
  The remuneration for the Community Engagement Assistant Intern position will be in accordance with industry standards and will be communicated during the interview process. It may include a stipend based on the intern’s qualifications and experience.
• Time Basis and Hours Expected 
  The internship is offered on a part-time basis, allowing for flexibility. The expected number of hours per week will be approximately 20-25 hours, with specific schedules to be determined with the intern and the organization. The internship duration will typically range from three to six months, depending on mutual agreement and needs of the community.
