Overview

The MUA Investment team is looking for a dynamic graduate to join the team. The candidate should have recently completed a university degree in the field of commerce or finance and have an interest in developing their skills and experience in investment.

The team is looking for a graduate who:

>  shows initiative

>  is capable of working well in a team setting and autonomously when required

>  has attention to detail

>  follows financial markets and has an interest in learning more about portfolio management

> has proficiency across Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

>  has strong communication skills both in English and French.

>  is punctual

 

Day to day tasks may differ depending on team requirements, however the list below provides an example of typical tasks:

>  Keep up to date with local newspapers and international news, communicating relevant findings to team

>  Answering phone calls, liaising with stockbrokers

>  Calculations for factsheets of various funds on Excel

>  Update country fact sheets for East African countries

>  Performance publication and snapshot updates (indices, benchmarks, pricing)

>  Update presentations on PowerPoint

The team will provide training for trainee tasks where required
