Overview
Tasks:
• Prepare management accounts and year end accounts for a portfolio of domestic clients
• Payroll computation in accordance with local legislations
• Liaise with auditors in the conduct of audits,
• Control of VAT/NPS/PAYE/APS/TDS returns; coordinate proper and timely filing with the MRA
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures
• Where applicable, coach, supervise and mange team members
Profile
• University degree (Finance/Accounting) and/or studying for a professional qualification (ACCA or ACA);
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in similar position;
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards (IAS, IFRS) and local legislations (Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Companies Act & Labour Act);
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Accounting software.
