Overview

Work within a friendly, diverse, supportive team to provide excellent customer service to students from around the world. The student enquiry advisor role involves managing daily 1:1 communications with prospective students and their parents. The aim is to provide great customer service, answer the students’ queries with accuracy and increase applications and enrolments in our partner institutions.

Key Responsibilities

-Answer first line student support queries, providing advice and support directly to the student

-Recommend universities and courses based on the academic, professional and social profile of each student

-Improve the enquiry experience for students with great service and provision of accurate information

-Ensure all incoming communications are effectively managed and answered within contracted turnaround times utilising both email and phone/video calls to engage with prospective students

-Utilise effective writing skills to ensure emails are written in an engaging way with no grammatical errors

-Use a personalised approach to build rapport and represent our partner institutions positively

-Ensure quality standards are met and whenever possible exceeded

Essential Skills & Experience

– An excellent standard of spoken and written English

– Ability to engage and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people

– Strong customer relationship skills

– Ability to perform well under pressure and multi-task

– Preference given to candidates with previous phone-based experience in a metrics-driven environment and/or in the admission department of a University

Desirable

– Knowledge of international education market and process / procedures

– Experience of using a CRM

– The ability to speak a second language is desirable

Qualification

2-3 year degree from an accredited institution OR combination of education and relevant experience
