The available Junior Economist position is for a 3-months internship with the possibility of a permanent full-time offer being made thereafter based on performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Preparation of Economic & Market Intelligence Reports
- Carrying out data analytics and keep track of economic and market trends.
- Desk research and data gathering from various sources.
- Assist in preparing presentations
- Daily media screening & weekly press reviews
- Providing assistance to Management when required
- Meet players of different industries along with Economic & Market Intelligence Manager to gather qualitative information
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Economics and/or Finance
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Ability to work as per deadlines and producing quality work
- Basic understanding of financial statements and ratios
- Commitment and ability to work under pressure
- Self driven and aspiring for growth
- Dynamic and good attitude
- Excellent planning and organization skills
