Overview

Maintain the day to day transactions on the computerized accounting system

Update accounting ledgers;

Liaise with other company departments in the collation and preparation of reports, budgets etc.;

Liaise and handle queries from within and outside the group;

Maintain fixed assets registers;

Perform analytical review of accounts;

Ensure internal control procedures in place are adhered to;

Prepare monthly management accounts;

Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements for the group in compliance with IFRSs;

Prepare monthly and annual statutory returns;

Involve in the treasury functions;

Liaise with external and internal auditors;

lead and coach the accounting team

Assist the Group Chief Accountant in the daily finance operations of the company.
