Overview

Tasks:

·         Performing professional company secretarial tasks for GBC and domestic companies;

·         Attending board meeting & AGM and drafting of board and shareholder minutes (simple and complex);

·         Liaising with local authorities (ROC, FSC, SEM, CDS, etc.) regarding ongoing operational and company secretarial matters;

Advising clients on the company’s ongoing legal requirements from a Mauritian perspective;
·         Performing Bank account openings and Bank transfer;

·         Managing and monitoring a portfolio of more complex clients.

·         Developing good time management skills; able to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

·         Responsible for the review of the works of junior staff and ensure they are up to ITL standards. This include review of all company secretarial tasks, coordination for board meetings, review of financial statement and any ancillary tasks.

·         Ensure proper follow-up on tasks and outstanding issues in portfolio.

·         Ability to provide on-the-job training to junior staff.

·         Good knowledge of our internal procedures and processes.

·         Responsible in maintaining high team spirit and motivation of team members.

·         Collaborate with other teams/ department.

·         Participating in various internal projects, where applicable.

 

Your profile:

 

University degree in Management, Finance, or Law and/or studying for a professional qualification;
3-4 years working experience in the global business sector.
·         Good communication skills;

·         Well versed in written English;

·         English at A-Level would be an advantage;

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·         Be flexible, able to work under pressure;

·         Organised, autonomous, accurate, proactive with an analytical mind

·         Team player with a good time management and interpersonal skills
