HEI Schools Mauritius is hiring passionate Early Years Educators!

Our first Early Years School, welcoming children aged 1 to 6, is set to open on 1st September 2025 in Forbach, in the North of Mauritius.

We’re seeking enthusiastic educators who are excited about introducing a fresh educational approach to Mauritius—one that is child-centered, play-based, and rooted deeply in nature.

Are fluent in either French or English, with exceptional oral and written communication skills.

WORKING AT HEI SCHOOLS:
8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
22 days of annual leave.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inspire Learning:
● Implement child-centered practices rooted in Finnish pedagogy, emphasizing play, interaction, and
holistic development.
● Encourage hands-on experiences and outdoor activities, making nature a central part of each child’s
daily routine.
2. Nurture Individuality:
● Create meaningful learning experiences tailored to each child’s unique needs, interests, and abilities.
● Foster a love for nature, curiosity, and adventure in children aged 1-6 years old.
3. Bring Your Passion:
● Infuse the learning environment with your own unique skills and interests, whether in art, music,
storytelling, or other creative pursuits.
● Actively contribute ideas and new approaches to enhance the educational experience.
4. Collaborate with Parents:
● Build strong relationships with parents by sharing updates, insights, and celebrations of their child’s
progress.
● Act as a partner in each child’s learning journey, fostering open communication and trust.
5. Continuous Growth:
● Commit to ongoing professional growth, staying current with Finnish early childhood education
practices and research.
● Share best practices with colleagues and contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation.
