Dupont Tennant is one of the leading agents for SWAN General Ltd and the only accredited one to settle claims (except Marine and Health).

Focused on the quality of service we are constantly working on the improvement of the client’s experience.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated employee to fulfil the role of Underwriting Officer who will contribute to increase this dynamic.

DUTIES

The position will include the following duties:

·         To prepare quotations (mainly motor insurances)

·         To handle and follow-up request/queries from customers

·         To assist the Executive Partner in:

§  the development of the Client Relationship Management Application

§  the optimization of our process

§  the development of our website

OTHER DUTIES

On request of the Executive Partner, the candidate might also have to assist the other departments:

1-      Client Relationship/underwriting department

·         To proceed renewal of insurances

·         To Process new insurances policies

2-      Accounting department

·         Chase for late payments

3-      Claim department

·         Assist the claim manager handle and follow-up queries from customers

4-      Any other cognate duties which may arise aligned to business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The candidate should possess the following profile:

ü  Degree holder or equivalent.

ü  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written – English and French)

ü  Be computer literate, with a good knowledge of Word and Excel

v  A working experience including some knowledge in General Insurance would be a plus.
